Due to popular demand I have decided to end my retirement and return to the Clutch City board. Due to Walt's increased playing time this year my services are obviously going to be needed. Congrats to the many of you who are finally beginning to come around and realize that this team ain't going nowhere with Walt playing 20+ minutes per night. PLLLLLLLLEEEEAAASSSEEE do not compare Glen Rice to Walt Williams. This is not a question of conditioning.........it is a question of talent. It is not worth the time to compare a Hyudai to an Acura (granted Rice may be an old beat up Acura). Shame, shame, shame on the Rockets for letting Matt Bullard go. Did anyone catch Walt's wide open airball 3-pointer in game 2 and nice wide open bank off the glass airball 3-pointer in game 3? Nice sharpshooter we have. Well at least he can dribble and play defense....................NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There are in excess of 2000 members of this board If every time one left and returned, he posted something like this, it would be hard to find anything else on the board. That said, welcome back . Just try to focus on something positive, pretty please?
Puedlford, The answer to your question is a loud "NO". You would be correct in saying that I only post negative things about the Wizard. When the Rockets start playing someone else (and I don't care who) at that position I assure you that you will see many positive posts from myself. By the way.........I do feel that I showed a positive reinforcement by defending Glen Rice who after a brief 3 game stint with us is taking tons of abuse. Give the man time to show what he can do. Thanks to the other posters who have welcomed me back!!!
I agree, walt sucks. He needs to be at the end of the bench. The Rockets have Morris and Torres on the bench and they refuse to play them over Walt. It's just a stupid decision on the Rudy's part. There's no excuse for playing Walt right now.
I'm so glad you returned just in time to see Walt make some key plays in our win on the road against Phoenix tonight.
...Walt's key plays resulting in a 3-1 record. Walt isn't our savior but he's playing his role and we're winning.
