I thought he was directing that to DD. I was finna say you didn't have to do him like that. That would've been a nasty 40 piece combo breaker from killer instinct.
This guy is a dumbass. Not because he is a bad coach but because he is incapable of seeing his mistakes and failures.
Too many impatient fans..... If you want to wait on Jalen and KPJ to continue developing - fine too.... I just think we are unbalanced as a roster, and one of KPJ or Green should go......and I like keeping the better player - not the one that MIGHT be better later. DD
That's an insult to all personal trainers out there. Silas is more of a wannabe life coach and stan for KPJ at this point.
And KPJs numbers are better than what Jrue Holiday did until his 4th year, what's your point? What's silly is you counting KPJ's 1st years as if he was playing a ton and forgetting that Green played under professional coaches in the D league. Shouldn't the lottery number 2 pick be much further along?
God that's a really dumb take Silas. The last 10 titles were won by these PG's: Steph Curry Jrue Holiday Rajon Rondo Fred Van Vleet Kyrie Irving (in reality Lebron James) Tony Parker Mario Chalmers There is absolutely no correlation between high scoring and championship PG's. They can be high scorers. They can be great shooters. They can be good defenders. They can have a mix of that stuff. You know what they all have in common? The person running the offense for the champion always has a very good asst/to ratio. I can go back 30 years and I bet 99% of them will be high asst/to guys running the offense. You can have a KPJ type person running the point when you have Lebron or Kawhi or Draymond running the offense for you. You can TOTALLY get away with a role playing PG who doesn't score a lot (Rondo, Chalmers). You cannot get away with a guy who is averaging KPJ's asst/to ratio this season, last season and the season before that - all of them practically identical numbers.
Too many impatient fans -double d Let's trade a player who's not even done with his rookie contract bc currently we have a better player at his position - also double d Can't ever take this guy seriously with his kpj fanboi takes
KPJ is a modern PG - which to say is a combo guard. Whether folks like it or not. The last 10 titles were won by these PG's: (most of them combo scoring/point) 2022 Steph Curry 25.5ppg and 6.3apg 3.2 TO 2021 Jrue Holiday 17.7ppg 6.1apg 2.2TO 2020 Rajon Rondo 8.9ppg 6.6apg 2.1TO (Lebron shared duties) Fred Van Vleet - was not on the Raptors 2019 Kyle Lowry - 14.2ppg 8.7apg 2.8TO 2018 Steph Curry 26.4ppg 6.1apg 3.0TO 2017 Steph Curry 25.3ppg 6.6apg 3.0TO 2016 Kyrie Irving 19.6ppg 4.7apg 2.5TO 2015 Steph Curry 23.8ppg 7.7apg 3.1TO 2014 Tony Parker 16.7ppg 5.7apg 2.2TO 2013 Mario Chalmers/Lebron James 8.6ppg 3.5apg 1.5TO Here is your table completely corrected with context and as you can clearly see - SCORING COMBO PGs are all the rage......traditional PGs are dead....unless you have a Point Forward like Lebron. Not a SINGLE PG averaging over 9 assists a game, most in the 6apg range....most of them highly scoring as well.....you guys need to get into the modern game and stop pining for the days of John Stockton....and get with the program... Sure looks like KPJ is in the ballpark with all those CHAMPIONSHIP PGs.....maybe if he had teammates that could hit the broadside of a barn he would have even better stats....than....his current ones of: KPJ 19.5ppg 5.7apg 3.7TO - not too shabby, TBH....probably our best player this year, and also the most hated because it takes SHINE away from others favorites....or they are hung up on his past transgressions that weren't even in Houston.....tsk tsk fans....you should be better than that. NEXT ! DD
LZ was talking on the radio this morning that there was a rumor that Silas didn't like KPJ at PG and that it was a directive sent down from Stone to play him there. If this is true, this is a big internal problem.
