If Cat was traded to Vancouver instead of Dickerson, do you think our team would be better or worse? Ofcourse it's hard to judge, but if Cat was in Vancouver, would he have developed as much as he has here. I want to say Cat would be worse since he got plenty of opputunities to imrove himself in houston. Dickerson's a solid player. I think SA never would have signed with Houston. I think Houston would be worse off since cat has made such a huge contribution to as a creator. ------------------
Early on I would have said that the Rockets would be better off with Dickerson, but I was wrong. Mobley has a whole other dimension to his game. If we had traded Mobley (a 2nd rounder) instead of Dickerson (a 1st rounder), we would not have been able to make the cap figures work. Because I would rather actually HAVE Steve Francis than not have him, I guess I'll just have to live with trading Dickerson. In all seriousness, though, Dickerson was (and probably still is) my favorite player of the two. He's going to be a special player in this league. ------------------

did the Rockets offer either, and the grizz took dickerson? It worked out very nicely for us, but at the but at the time dickerson was considered a more sure fire pick. ------------------
if i've said it once i've said it at least once: cuttino was, is, and will always be a better player than tissue dicky. seriously, MD's alright, but doesn't have the drive that cuttino has. i love the cat's determination and resiliency. i just never did and still don't see that in dicky.
