Why can't CNN or Fox news call them out.

Been posted before and you left yourself wide open for some serious ragging with that misspelling.

I guess I'll address your content, rather than your style.

You do raise a valid point, why is it the "alternative medias" job to be the watch dog?

Shouldn't CNN and Fox be chomping at the bit to pull a GOTCHA against their rival networks?

I guess not, since playing gotcha news doesn't get viewers... or maybe its because of a need to appear "unbias" even though it is the job of a news network to expose the truth.

The press is bound by two restraints. First, they are corporately owned, and therefore limited by the biases and risk-aversion of their mother corporations. Second, it is in their best interest for this to be a close election, so that they can get more viewers.

Not only that but what's with people not knowing when to use a question mark vs. a period?

Funny, yes.................but you could do that for both sides if you wanted to. Heck, you could take quotes from Biden and Hillary about Obama during the campaign and compare them to after his nomination. Bottom line is all these people are politicians, and they blow whichever way the wind blows if it makes their point and will switch directions when they have to.

That word has been thrown around so frequently and often in here, you'd think everyone knows the correct spelling.

Doubt it, but perhaps this was an intentional misspelling?

Out of 8 replies, 5 of them point out the same spelling and grammatical errors.

Good lord guys, let it go.

Exactly. The biggest problem with the media today is this fallacy that the truth is in the middle, and accuracy is found by simply quoting both sides.

Even though I' spell worse than a 4th grader in ESL, it was intentional.

What's sad is that all the media cares about are ratings. They will put anyone on camera that will add to the sensationalism and hype like Rove. Journalism in this age is all about web hits and viewership and has very little integrity and truth anymore.

Whats even worse is that members on this board from both sides will post this crap, even though they know it is mostly hype and half truths. I guess they are thinking that it will actually persuade people to their side. Has any independent on this board actually been persuaded to the republican side by one of Basso's article postings? I'm an undecided voter and it just makes me not want to vote for McCain because it would put me on the same side as him. There is so much noise that I can't even think clearly sometimes.

I think it is a great thread and that it's a shame that the media doesn't focus more on these truths like comedy central does in lots of its clips.

But the fact that most here responded to your spelling instead of your content, lets you know why the media doesn't focus on content. For those who don't like to think or face truth, they would rather focus on sensational items like your spelling, not your content.

    Sad...but the truth of reality.
