Imagine being in full Rockets gear with your wife also in full Rockets gear in the middle of a bunch of Mavs fans while that video is playing. That was what I went through last night.
I was at the game last night with my girl and a friend. Not going to lie, it sucked being there the last 2 minutes. However, we got redemption after the game on the train ride back. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/fCHkn4t-UMQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I laughed. As for the game....Whatever, it was a crappy loss, but still only counts as one regular season game. I think I have been watching the Rockets for too long to get overly worked up about it. If anything, maybe it is a good thing and will light a fire under their butts. Something needs to wake them up a bit on the defensive end.
Yeah, I'm impressed with how flawless it looked. Hopefully we have some talented artists here that can return the favor later :grin:
I have to say the Mavs Marketing is awesome! From their What Day Is It? to the Sponge Bob Square Pants intro -- this was so totally funny. OMG What do the Mavs Say is also hysterical -- it's on YouTube The players on the team have a great sense of humor But......Rockets will get them back Dirk and Monta will go down
Seriously, for 75% of the game the Rox were clearly the better, more dominant team. They were also much, MUCH more entertaining to watch then the boring, old jump shooting mavs. The Mavs had a hell of a 4Q - I'll give them that, while the rox scored only 19 pts. They got hot when it counted. Something the young rox players and also the coaches can learn from. This reminds me of when the Mavs were dominant and fun to watch and the Rockets would steal a game from them. Oh, well it happens. I think if the Rockets (especially James Harden) commit to playing better D, make better decisions with the ball inside of 2 mins in the 4q, continue to move the ball (no Harden ball stopping) and continue to have beast like games from DH - they will be fine. Oh, and more consistent outside shooting cough Garcia cough. We need better coaching out of McHale too.
Although we lost, T.Jone's skill development on court has been amazing to watch. He moves so well off the ball and has great hands. The kid is active on the boards and hopefully can develop into that stretch 4 we've been lacking
