From Frank Hughes column on ESPN.com - Two players who may have made the worst business decisions in the NBA reside in Houston: Shandon Anderson and Walt Williams. ------------------ The way to use life is to do nothing through acting, The way to use life is to do everything through being. - Lao-Tzu
I read that too... what business decision did Walt Williams have to make? Huh? After my experience w/ Mike Fratello, I'm pretty confident that Heypartner knows more than 85% of the 'experts' that get paid to do this stuff. ------------------ You don't normally see a shot-blocker out there shooting 3s like that. - Matt Bullard
Yep, I'm sure he did. Must be something about the hectic Xmas-New Year's season . . . in another ESPN.com article, Scott Howard-Cooper refers to "Ricky Pierce" when he means Paul Pierce. And on CBS Sportsline, Mike Kahn has an article breaking down this year's lottery picks, in which he says Courtney Alexander has had a tough time beating out Tracy McGrady and Mike Miller for minutes in Orlando. Maybe he'd understand the problem better if he knew that Alexander was traded to Dallas on draft day. Believe it or not, these guys think of themselves as insiders . . . ------------------
I read that too and thought, "Did I miss something? Is Ricky sick?" Unreal! ------------------ The way to use life is to do nothing through acting, The way to use life is to do everything through being. - Lao-Tzu
Bobrek, Why would you assume he's talking about Mo Taylor? With the weak free agent class there is going to be this upcoming offseason, and the consistent play he has shown lately, GM's are gonna be drooling over a kid in his early 20's with a protypical power forward body and alot of talent. Also he chose Houston which was wise since we'll have alot of cap room. I understand the Shandon part, even though I think he would still get decent money out there in the free agent market. ------------------
Bear in mind that I am not agreeing with him when I say I assume he means Mo Taylor (who else from the Rockets would he mean?). Taylor did pass up a boatload of cash from the Clippers (even though it wasn't the max). A bird in hand is worth 2 in the bush and until the past 7-10 games Mo was not playing as well as he is now. If Mo continues to average 18-8 he will reap the rewards. If he goes back to 12-5 he won't. ------------------
Those ESPN peeps if they messed up on paul pierce's name and if they didnt even know that alexander was traded to dallas. Plus there is no business decision walt williams had to make. Even if they meant MO taylor, they would still be wrong cuz MO is playins really nice with us right now. ------------------
