Im about to take the dive on one of these. I want one for my XBOX chair.
But I was wondering if you guys knew of any cheaper ones, or if possible I could get my gf or her sister to make me one. They are pretty talented with the sewing machine.

Isn't there a Bean Bag warehouse in Houston? I recall seeing their ads with the bean bags all stacked up under their main sign.

those bean bags are trash. why would you want a bean bag thats been sitting outside?
the ones in the mall claim to have 3 mattresses stuffed in them.
    Extra comfy on the toushie!

Those things are nice, but expensive. I think I remember they cost around $300.

You asked about cheaper ones...not for quality.

That's just a gimmick, "BI RITE FURNITURE: Where the beanbags are!" They don't actually sell the ones outside.

I saw some cheapo bean bags at Garden Ridge Pottery the other day when my wife dragged me to that place.

WE were at Best Buy and I saw their "Gaming Chairs" which look almost like a race car chair on a rocker, and thought they were neat, but the price tag was $199  I rather have a $300 bean bag that I can be a big fat slob in.

Im looking to upgrade my home theater as well so it only makes perfect sense. :D

My wife bought me a Shaggy Bag for Christmas last year from Baybrook Mall. She bought the biggest one they have "Goliath" and we both sit in it and watch movies, TV, and I use it to play PS2 (when I have the time). Its great and its probably the one of the best gifts I've ever received.

I'm asking too... I want a comfy chair for my gaming/computer room, but I don't think I have enough room for a full barca-lounger, this would be a nice option.

I remember reading an article once about some gamers who would buy used bucket seats from cars, and they'd become gaming chairs. The idea is that car seats are comfortable for long periods of sitting, and so they work perfectly for gaming.

As far as I know the store no longer exists in Baybrook Mall. I saw the manager of that store over at Katy Mills Mall where they have a Shaggy Bag store and he told me that they were closing the Baybrook mall location (thiswas about six months ago).

You can follow this link to see what kind and size bag are right for you. There is also a store locator if you need to find one closer to you.

You go follow this link and it will tell you more about it. The only store I've seen besides the Baybrook Mall location was at Katy Mills Mall. Hope that helps.

Good lord those are expensive... Maybe I should go with the leather barca-lounger and just have a snug fit, lol.
