I really admired Hubie's coaching ability to turn the game transition so fast and gain the momentum in just a fraction of time. Rocks led the team to as much as 7 points, then Grizz timed out, next phase Grizz is up with full court pressure and that's when Rockets never regain the lead. It took 1 full time out and after a minute a 20 second later, he called a 20 second time out and Rockets never catch up again. Hubie identify the weakness of his opponent and he desreved to get a credit. I hate to say but Grizz kick our a55! On national TV!!

Yeah the Grizz did well. We were obviously a worse team when Yao was on the floor. Hubie knew Yao had trouble with athletic big guys. The fact that Jwill had 10 assists to 1 Turnover showed who really controlled the game. Steve Francis had a good game by 'our' standards but Jwill really outplayed him in his position. It always seems like Steve feels content to make a few good passes then proceed to 'get his'...sort of like how Yao feels content to score a lot then start passing off. Damnit! Isn't there someway to swap their personalities!? :)

Steve did an awesome job distributing the ball last game. He could of easily had a dozen assists if the Rox could of knocked down some shots.

I agree with you for the most part. For the first three quarters, he looked nice. But he just didn't distribute in the fourth quarter. Too many long jumpshots and too much dribbling. He made some questionable decisions.

He's our go-to guy in the clutch. I get that. But he tossed a lotta trash up there in the last two minutes.

Hubie Brown is one of my favorite NBA commentators. He's a fantastic coach and he's done amazing things in Memphis. But he'll always be Mr. Upside to me.

He was able to sum up great basketball plays with only one word: "Niiiice."

    Classic.

whatever happened to hubie's health being in doubt. he almost blacked-out last week during a game. would have fell to the floor had some dude not caught him. reminds me of reggie lewis. had a scare, it was dismissed, several months later dies at just a shootaround. have i not been keeping up or was this issue already discussed.

i'm not surprised you didn't hear about. there were no articles about it and i think it was espn fastbreak that reported it the night it happened. he's probably fine, but still, like i said i haven't seen anything like it since reggie lewis dropped in a playoff game.

According to Hubie he just tripped and lost his balance. I highly doubt he would deny any health problems if he had any.

yeah, except from the look of the video, that is definitely not what happened. a trip would be kind of a sudden action. he just kind of slumped and started falling back and then when he was caught kind of came to. if he tripped, he did it really strangely.

He has changed Jason Williams, aka white elephant, to John Stockton. What a coach!;)
