What software packages can crank out HTML mail? Thunderbird?

Someone ask me the other day about how to do HTML mail. The author is not HTML start, so WYISWYG is in order here.

FWIW the author is interested in running a monthly newsletter that will be sent out in email and archived on a web site.

    Thanks in advance!!!

Coincidentally, I just received an offer in the mail to get a free copy of "High Impact eMail 4.0" if I purchase the latest version of PDF Converter Professional. It appears that High Impact eMail will accomplish what you want (and then some). The mailing claims that it retails for $99.00.

What regular emailing software do you use? Outlook? It can send out in HTML. All you have to do is change your formatting.

The trick is sending the message with all the pictures, all the formatting, etc., and making it look like you intend to on the recipient's reader. Most readers, including Web-based email like HotMail or Yahoo!Mail can read HTML and will display the message accordingly, and also based on what they can remove as far as links and images in the HTML.

Why not try just sending from your regular OUTLOOK and changing the format of the message from "Rich Text" to "HTML" ? Give it a try.

Please elaborate on "The author is not HTML start". Do you mean to say the author does NOT know HTML? No need for that. Word does it for you.

Yes, hand editing HTML for this author is a non-starter.
