http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-13970_7-10453263-78.html This phone looks awesome. Finally, something to look forward to as a T-Mobile customer. It'll come with a blockbuster app, mobiTV, Barnes and Noble ereader, and more. Possibly upgradeable to Windows 7. It'll come with both transfomers movies preloaded. Any Tmobile insiders know what price tag this will carry?
geez...it's going to be pricey i'm sure. look at the nexus one, i'll stick with my G1 for now. (i can't afford a smarter phone)
I was thinking about getting it but until it's confirmed that WinMo7 will work with it I don't want to get it. I planned on keeping that phone for a while.
There are pictures that show the HD2 running WinMo7. Not sure if it's real or not, but Microsoft's twitter said it would announce something regarding WinMo7 and HD2 soon. I'd put up the link, but it's blocked at work The price is a MAJOR factor for me. The Nexus 1 unlocked was crazy expensive. But the T-Mobile users got a decent price. I'm hoping it'll be like that with this phone. I'd buy the HD2 if it was around the same price as the current iphone. If not, I'll wait for the iphone 4G that is supposedly coming out this summer.
Phone? it's windows mobile so *cringes* It's up to you. mobitTV or any video app will depend on your 3G connection. I have a Nokia N900 and I runs flash pretty well in 3G. Once your out of 3G range streaming video is useless. Price? My honest guess is $600. It's better that you buy your phone full price anyways. T-mobile has cheaper plans for unlocked phones. I pay $60 (with taxes) for 500 anytime, Unlimited text, data. If T-mobile sells it with a contract? $350 my guess and a more expensive plan.
I am definitely getting this phone. Hopefully it comes out around Holiday 2010, because that's when my current Verizon contract expires.
My thoughts exactly on Windows mobile. But I like what I'm reading so far. The newer versions have been decent. I'm sure tmobile will sell the phone at a decent price. Required data plans are the new thing today
