As for the kid, while a beating by the cops is absolutely uncalled for perhaps he'll quit breaking into houses and running when the cops tell him to stop.
It would be nice to see Quanell X lecture the parents for not providing the proper discipline to their child so he would not be out committing crimes. Maybe he'll now think twice about burglarizing someone's place.

Look, the message here is that nobody is above the law. The kid shouldn't rob people and cops shouldn't beat up people. I hold the police to a higher standard because they have more power. Why is this such a difficult concept to understand?
