I'm also interested to see how Cato does. If Cato can step it up and improve, maybe he can be a key contributor next season.

Reading a report off an ESPN board from a poster who was at the game for the first half... apparently Eddie committed 2 fouls in the first 47 seconds. Odom made a surprise appearance and played for the Clippers... stay tuned.

You better not be playing mind games Cat! Odom playing!? 2 fouls called on Griffin!? It's Summer League play, and they're calling quick fouls the first game!?

    Rocks,

I hope not. The guy seems pretty legit, but it is ESPN so who knows...

Miles and Quentin Richardson did not play, however, Odom and McInnis did. That's all I know as of right now.

Hmmm, sounds like what you read might be legit Cat. I hope Griffin gets some serious minutes and a chance to play. It would suck if he was taken out of a chance to showcase his skills with some quick fouls.

A team won this game, don't ask me who, but my sources from both teams have indicated to me that one team scored more points than the other. More to follow...

You know Pete Rose the player was banned for doing crazy stuff, I'm pretty sure Pete Rose the poster isn't immune to it! [IMG]

Someone from ESPN, who said they were at the game, said the Rockets lost by a couple.

Apparently, Griffin didn't score much,9 points, but had a ton of blocks and barely played in the 1st half due to foul trouble and because he took a bad shot when he got back in, Morris hit a couple jumpers but was off for the most part, and Langhi had something like 20 points. Colson supposedly did well too.

I just read on the ESPN boards that you can't foul out of a summer league game. So my guess is that he was taken out because he was hurt or wasn't doing as told. hehe. [IMG]

I was at the game tonight and WOW! Griffin looked great. He was in early foul trouble(like two quick ones by the 10:47 mark in the 1st Quarter) but shined in the second half. He did not score a lot(9 pts.) but had from what I could count about six blocks, a few really nasty ones. He had about ten boards roughly, and was playing good D.
As for the other Rockets, Langhi was the star of the game, scoring 23 pts. and playing solid D on none other than Lamar Odom (who shocked the crowd with a surprise appearance). T-Rock looked good scoring about 9 and blocking a few shots. Sean Colson played very well and I hope he finds a spot on the roster this season.
The Rocks were down the entire game until late in the 4th when they took a one point lead 85-84 on a Colson three. But the Clips responded with an Odom three and a Dooling jumper to ice it.
Other Rocks: V. Hamilton- solid, good rebounder and shot blocker, scored about 10pts.
    O. Sneed- alright, a few jumpers.
    Collier- don't ask.(not good)
Saul Smith- I wouldn't let him on my tee-ball squad.
Cato- M.I.A., probably slept in at the Best Western.
Pictures I took coming in a few.
