He's still going to suck. He needs to train with Shaq and learn how to use his ass to create space and back other guys down, cuz he ain't never gonna have 1/10th of the dream's skillset or touch.

Yeah he developed ONE post move. Great for him. But I agree with the other guy who said he needs to work with Shaq. He just needs to use his strength and athleticism to overpower his opponents because he doesn't have to the touch to effectively use Hakeem's moves.

the dude is averaging 16 points and 11 boards while having a BAD YEAR. With the rockets, considering how they like to get out on the break and find open guys on the pick and roll, he will average 24 points 12 boards easy without it hurting hardens shot attempts. He will make lin more effective too bc he will open up the lob option that lin had with tyson chandler in houston. Lets not also forget he will replace one of our best trade baits (asik) so we can potentially get someone good in addition (aldridge or love for asik, parsons and fillers?)

anywho that was a tangent.. hopefully he comes to dream and dream tells him how great it is in houston when u are on a good team and a good player

His back is fine, it's his shoulder that needs surgery. Had the same injury myself. If it weren't a contract year, he would've already had it. VERY hindering and VERY painful..

As if training with Hakeem grows you a new pair of balls. Just give up Dwight, you ain't about that life.

i agree with this, and while i'm not a big dwight fan, i think all these guys training with hakeem is just a silly waste of time, not just dwight.

all they are doing is mimicking dream's moves while he is there with them and nobody is playing defense on them. it isn't a bit translatable to their games. none of them ever take his post game and integrate it into their own games to any appreciable degree, nor should they be expected to. these guys already have seasoned and established offensive games, and it's pretty silly to expect them to suddenly start using dream's moves (if they are even athletic/graceful enough to do so). save for the one time every week or two kobe will make a turnaround jumper and the announcer will inevitably comment that he learned it from working out with hakeem, all his pointers basically fall on deaf ears.

I don't understand why some of these guys doesn't go to Dream at the beginning of their careers. Dwight just doesn't have the agility and finesse of the Dream, nor does he has the soft touch and the great footwork. Yea, Dream can show him a few moves but the reason why Dream was so unstoppable, was because he had the footwork, skills, talent, and the instincts where he was able to make counter moves.

Nobody will ever have the same type of agility, skill, talent, size, athleticism, footwork, and instincts as Hakeem.

I just don't see how much Hakeem can help a guy with no jumper.

Stoudemire is someone who I think definitely benefited from working with Dream.
