How would a third championship compare to the first two? Could it be just as special? I kind of think not. It would be incredible, but I don't think it could match the first ones. Maybe I'm wrong.
No way any championship can compare to that first one because it was not only the Rocket's first, but it was the city's first in any major sports league. Of course, how it feels is dependent upon if you lived through that first championship. If you didn't, you may think nothing of those and think the 3rd is the greatest. But personally, nothing tops the first.
For me, it would depend on how we won the championship, the teams we beat, number of games played in each series, injuries, drama, buzzer beating shots, sidestorylines, matchups, etc. The third could just be as great or even greater than the first one. It all depends on how we win that third one. Hopefully, we'll be able to find that out soon enough.
