I will clap. Ron did his thing and help get the team out of the first round. I will wish him well but not when he plays the Rockets. :D

Can't blame Ron for leaving and we found a younger replacement the same day so I'm not too upset.

We have to keep it classy here in Houston and cheer him when he comes to town. It was a short lived Rocket career but a memorable one, so we should be grateful and move on.

    Thanks Ron, good luck!

I won't cheer him, I won't boo him. Ron Artest is a butterfly chaser and I have no respect for him anymore. That Lakers series was a war and he just changed sides so the traitor will have a nice little red dot on his back as far as i'm concerned. We need a new enforcer who can smack him around when we meet him next season. Pretty damn disgusted that he went to Lakers of all teams. Well at least douche bags smell nice i guess.

He isn't a Rocket now, so just like any other player. He won't get any special treatment because he isn't that much of a deal. T-Mac is ten times the player Artest is when his head is on straight.

Do absolutely nothing - just like what he accomplished here, basketball-wise.

For the first time I will say something positive about T-mac over Ron and its that at least T-mac has been with this team longer then a year. LOL!

    I would clap.

I don't think Ron did anything wrong. I mean, I wish he wouldn't have chosen the Lakers, but at the end of the day, he wants to win. What better place to "win" than with the defending champions? I can't blame him at all for that.

Plus, the Rockets and Ron just weren't on the same page with what they expected from this. The Rockets wanted to sign him to a one year deal while Ron wanted a long term deal. When he declined, the Rockets started looking elsewhere and so did Ron.

And the reason I would clap for him is because he was a pivotal part of our playoff run.

I will clap. whether you like him or not, he gave us everything, played hard and brought a toughness to this team. With so many people complaining about Macs heart, at least give him credit for having heart. He wanted to win. Was he perfect? No. But for one season he gave us what he had and I appreciate that.

I don't understand some of the hate towards Artest. At first, I thought it was Artest choosing LA over us. Then we found out it was Morey and Adelman who really did not want him long-term.

The guy helped us get out of the first round for the first time in like 12 years. He deserves a standing ovation.

Ron should have gone anywhere but to the L.A Fakers! I hate him for doing that at least play with KING JAMES & Shaq and dethrone the L.A Fakers for 2009-20010 upcoming season. I dont want them to repeat at all, but now it looks like they will repeat after all.
