How will the Memphis Grizzlies sign James Posey?

    Right now...they have 18 players on their roster....?

    We have 16 but ours states that 5 are free agents.....

    Their only free agent is Mike Batiste...

    They are also exceeding the luxury tax threshold. So they're ok eclipsing it, but we're not.

    I personally think Memphis is just stock piling talent so they can make trades. They can ship off 3 or 4 players for one good player. The more talent they have the more they can ship out. Also the more talent they have the better chance they won't have holes in the roster after trades.

    The team is stock piling, no question!

    Hmm......

    I have another question.

    Can the Rockets sign and trade James Posey?

    And if we can.....I would like to get Shane Battier or Mike Miller from them. But none of the contracts match...Posey would be making more than anyone on their team.....the only way it would work is a 3 way trade involving Posey, Miller or Battier, and another team....right? That is if we are allowed to sign and trade James Posey. We have to get something!!!!!!

    No because he already signed a contract with Memphis. If we match we can trade him after 3 months post matching to non-Grizzly teams (provided Posey agrees), and after 1 year there are no trade restrictions.

    Man, Mike Miller, would be awesome on our team. Too bad we cant get him.:)
