will we be getting more games on national telivision? will the nba show us on tnt now? what about nbc or the new network that takes the nba's contract (nbc finished it's contract with the nba). how will things pan out?
i hope we can get a bunch of games. that would make us a high market team, and the refs will cheat for us too. just like the lakers vs. 76res, and mil vs. philly. High market teams win championchips, na... mostly the win games. Stern set it up that way.
It will definitely make the Rockets a big international team and they will be televised much more nationally and internationally. They will also sell a lot more tickets, probably selling out for a good part of the season. Merchandise will also pick up. It seems like its a great decision, business wise.

Let's face it Yao Ming will bring in the big bucks and also the Foreign big bucks. Talk about a money making machine. However poor ol Yao Ming will make big bucks for China and they might even let him keep a buck or two. The NBA loves all the publicity Yao will bring and that also turns into big bucks.
could be a plus or a minus.....if he and the team performs decent to well, the media will continue to swarm. from the start of the season, I believe the media will swarm here to see the phenom. after that, it will depend on our peformance and his....
We haven't had an network televised game (NBC) in like 2 years. Hopefully ABC will be more considerate.
