I personally was pretty impressed with Boki especially with the Malone playoff stint,

he seems to find new confidence in himself and he sure wasn't the player during the playoffs that he was when he first started out with the rockets.

    Yao/WeatherSpoon
    Howard/Mot
    J.Jackson/Boki/Pike
    Tmac/Pike/Barry (if signed)
    Barry(if signed)/Lue/Gaines

Looks like Boki looks like Boki is our 2nd option for play back up SF, if so...i am hoping to see a bigger role given to Boki.

who said that boki was working out everyday in the TC again? I think it was someone on the radio, If thats true, I think he will become a 8pt 3ast 5reb player by the end of the season, splitting minutes w/ JJ at the sf position

I think he's ready for the bigger role. He's had 2 years to get accustomed to the NBA style, but you won't steadily progress unless you're getting playing time. The Laker series showed he had some poise to start. He should definitely get more time this season. The Rockets prosper on guys who shoot the three and can slash. Go Boki!

Boki can only get better with more minutes. He was able to get to the basket a lot and actually started finishing his drives later in the season.

I really hope JVG plays Boki this season, he only has room to improve.

I think Boki will be a supersub that can change the complexion of a game just from his energy... If he can stay out of foul trouble and shoot a little bit more consistently, he'll be in the rotation.

I'm hoping he can be a little bit like Ginobili was for the Spurs his rookie year. I'm hoping for too much, I know, but it would be nice to see him do well.

This gave me an idea. Maybe Boki should be the next Bachelor. They've had a football player, now have basketball player. Plus, maybe the girls would like his accent. And maybe, if we're lucky, he could get lucky, solving his confidence problems.

    Just a thought.

Now that Cat's gone, you're probably right.

Though I've heard some people argue that Jimmy was the best looking on the team.

Here's my take on the handsometer (before the trade)

    J. Jackson > Nachbar > Mobley > Piatkowski > A. Griffin > M. Jackson > Taylor > Padgett > Ming > Cato > Wilks > Francis > Weatherspoon :)

You can't beat an agile small forward that can run the floor.... we haven't had a spectacular dunker since Horry was young. Mayve Boki could bring the crowds to their feet next season. Francis could do it, but he always ended up on the floor or hitting the rim.

Slightly disagree, would switch Boki with Cat and place JJ third.

I think Boki would be screwed of playing time if we sign Barry. Because then, Barry can sub at times at the 2/3. JVG's love of a short 8-man rotation would probably mean just Lue, Taylor, and Weatherspoon(or FA backup center) off the bench, while riding T-Mac, Barry, and JJ for 40+ minutes every night.

If we sign a player who can only play the point, then JVG will have no choice BUT to play Boki. If he gets to play 20-25 minutes, I'm projecting Boki for 6 points, 3 rebounds, 1.5 assists.

I hope he learns some sort of a post up move so he can try to get a size advantage if he relieves tmac at the 2 also.
