How well will the Grizz do in the playoffs?

They've been an exciting young team that runs and guns. Pau, though not a banger, is a finesse post player that meshes well with the revolving door of wingmen (Posey, Wells, Miller, etc.).

My question is: how far will they go in the playoffs? How well will they do? Everyone says the playoffs are a completely different entity from the regular season. Defense counts more, offensive possessions count a lot more, and it's better to go with a tighter rotation. That's why we feel JVG has prepped us for the playoffs, no? The Grizz aren't defensive monsters, they're pretty good on the offensive end (but they're not the Mavs), and they have like a 10-man rotation. Doesn't sound like a typical playoff formula, but hey, I could be wrong.

I personally see them getting out in the second round...anyone?

They likely with be playing LA or San Antonio, right? I think they'll win 2 games before being eliminated.

No one really knows for sure do they ;)

Well if you go by logic they should go out in the first round, but that teams succes can't be explained by logic. They have done an INCREDIBLE job. A job that doesn't get enough credit. They don't have a legitimate all-star but are still one of the best teams in the league.

The Grizzlies are the BIG unknown in this years playoff together with the Rockets and Heat in my opinion. By unknown I mean teams that you wouldn't be surprised to see loose in four but also could proceed to greater things.

(There was a moment in the regular season I even had the Grizzlies to win it all... please do not tell anyone:D)

To me Memphis is the scariest team in the playoffs. They have a very deep bench. Defenses cant really key in on one player.

i just wanna make sure they play the lakers or spurs (which is the most likely scenario right now). i hate all three teams and it would be sweet to see at least one go out in the first round.

Call me crazy but I think Memphis can pull off an upset over the Spurs but the Lakers would be really hard.
