I live in Singapore and must have live video coverage - if this has been covered let me know, otherwise is the NBA providing Web access ala MLB.tv? (I seriously doubt they would show EVERY game like MLB, but just need Rox coverage).

I guess one way you could do it is to make friends with someone in the US that has access to the games, and who owns a tuner card in their PC and uses orb.com.

I don't think NBA streams like the MLB online....which sucks.

Go to "http://www1.pplive.com/download.shtml". The CCTV-5 usually cover most of Rockets games.

Yes, pplive is your best bet. CCTV5 carries a lot of Rockets games during the regular season and a few other key matchup games. I don't think there's a Mac version of pplive.

I think one of my friends used pplive on his mac via virtualpc. You could probably do that assuming you have virtualpc on your mac.

My video connection isnt streaming smoothly. I know it might be my crappy internet connection. I was wondering if i could somehow put the video at a lower quality to make the stream smoother or any ideas on how to fix the problem. I have SBC DSL...

Many thanks for this and all other suggestions. This ought to be a season to enjoy - Rox & Spurs should be legendary.

I'm in Arizona, and I've been looking for a way to get games here, too. Getting it on TV is out of the question since I only get certain cable channels and that's it. So, I was looking for a way to get the games online but haven't found anything yet.:(:( I don't really get that pplive thing... it's free and the Rockets games are on cct5???

Try upgrading your Windows Media Player. The 800k is faster, so you might need to use the other one if your connection isn't that great.

There's a "switch language" button. Unless you didn't go to the right website: http://www5.pplive.com/english/index.shtml

There's a CCTV-5(800K) channel in PPLive's list. Its quality is much better than the ordinary one.
