Its Phil Hendrie's voice. He impersonates crazy guys then gets suckers who call in and argue with him. He is freaking brilliant at what he does.
How many will it take for you to slow down. My insurance is already more than my car payment and I have no tickets, no accidents, but I'm only 19. Buy a radar detector saved me about 3-4 times for about 10 over each time (not to fast, but faster than the rest, damn slow drivers).
okay...i guess this'll be story time with 3814 again. in British Columbia, when you're a "novice driver" you have to put a green "N" on the back of your vehicle for a minimum of a year and a max of 5 years depending on when you take your full license test. i have been lazy so i still have my "novice" license, but i never have my "N" on the back of my 84 corvette. so i'm coming back from work last week and i get pulled over by a cop for goin 60km/hr in a 30km/hr zone (park zone). the cop comes up to my window and asks for my license and registration. i hand him my drivers license as trying to get to my registration (my insurance was expired...so i was near crapping myself). he looks at my license and says COP - "you are a novice" me - "yep" i reply COP - "you don't have you 'N' on the back" me - "i don't" COP - "no" me - "hmmmm...i had to of lent it to a friend, oh yeh, a guy from work needed one, said he got a ticket yesterday...so i gave it to him cuz i was gonna pick one up later today since it's on my way home" COP - "really??? that's funny, cuz i see it in your trunk there" me - "oh, really??? COP - "yeh, that's it alright" me - "oh, crazy, i must of had two" COP - "why isn't it up" me - "it's pretty hard to put up on my car" COP - "it's magnetic, just sticks to the vehicle" me - "my car is fiberglass, it doesn't work" COP - "well, you can use the suctions on the window, do you have those???" me - "suctions??? no, where do i get them" COP - "they come with the "N", in fact, i see them right in the back there" me - "oh, damn, i've been lookin for those for weeks, yeh, i know what you mean now - suctions, and in suction cups" COP - "yeh, that would be the abbreviation...well, you seem like a busy guy working to get ahead (note: i had dirt all over my face from the lumberyard i work at)...so i'm gonna let you off cuz i know the tickets are alot of money - but i want you to take this as your big warning" me - "wow, thanks, i'll put the 'N' up right away" -- i was so lucky he didn't find out about my expired insurance -- i went and got that updated right away -- THE NEXT DAY COMING HOME FROM WORK and i still don't have my "N" on the back, and yeh, once again i'm speeding. the cop was waiting at the same spot he caught me the day before. he was on the other side of the lights, once he saw my car, he pointed at me (he was outside of his car). i quickly made a dumb decision, to bolt. i turned left and just floored it, taking turns whenver i felt like it would lose the cop, as when i was rounding the corner when he saw me i saw him goin for his car. yeh, i got away, and put my "N" up...i was lucky. and that's how you stay away from speeding tickets.
FrancisFan - yeh, i take it easy on that road now. EarlCureton - yeh, you're allowed the "zorro"...but it's unfortunate that many others have thought of it...so it's kinda overdone. Fatty FatBastard - yeh, 84 vette...but i only have it for 10 more days . i've owned it for just over 3 years and am now gonna get a chevy colorado zq8 sport edition.
umm, i wouldn't drive on that road again period. probably not good to drive by the same cop who has already seen you speed twice, and whom you sped away from the second time, no matter how within the speed limit you drive from now on.
Yeah i got pulled over for doing 64 in a 35 and since this is my first ticket i expected to just get defensive driving done and be done w/ it. I was wrong. I got put on 6 month probation, 285$ fine, have to do defensive driving too, and i have to do this program called "save our kids". Where i have to go to the morgue and look at dead bodies of car wrecks im guessing. Damn courts in Sugar Land have nothing better to do then screw with me.
http://www.texaslegaldirectories.com/faq_answers.html If you possess a valid Texas driver’s license and have not attended a defensive driving course in the last year, most courts allow you to take a defensive driving course to dismiss the ticket if it is 1) not a ticket for reckless driving, 2) not a ticket for lack of insurance, 3) not a ticket where you exceeded the speed limit for 25 mph over the limit. Sorry man, but this is why you got the punishment you did.
