I'm having some trouble with this. Not the most network savy guy but I wanna have my Xbox set up wireless for my Xbox Live. Just don't wanna spend a $100 on wireless adapter. I know there is many people out their that use their laptop or computer to bridge the connection.

I've read a couple of 'How To' tutorials, watch a couple of videos and gone step by step on each but I haven't been able to get internet connection on my 360. When I go to do the xbl connection test from Network Setting on my Xbox, the furtherest it's the test has gone was to internet. But now I can't even get the test to go pass my network. I tried restarting both a couple of times but that didn't work. Before I tried bridging my Local Area Connection to my Wireless connection on my laptop it gives me an error message saying..

"To create a Network Bridge, you must select at least two LAN or High-Speed Internet connections that are not being use by Internet Connection Sharing"

So I turned off the ICS to bridge both connections but still nothing.

Anyone can help? I'm using Vista by the way and my buddy next door is letting his use his wireless connection.

    !. Buy a crossover cable.
    2. Plug the cable into the sexBox and the laptop
    3. Go to network sharing on your laptop
    4. Go to network connections
    5. Highlight both your wireless and wired connection
    6. Right click
    7. On the menu select "Bridge Connections"
    8. Get your girlfriend to bring you a sandwhich
    9. Continue to ignore your girlfriend and enjoy Black Ops...

Wait, you gotta the sandwich right? The sandwich actually protects your Xbox from the red rings of death...
