The Altlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of the NBA includes some of the most "storied" NBA teams in league history, and today, they ALL have losing records. For NBA history buffs this is almost shameful so far as NBA tradition is concerned. Will the Celtics, Knicks, and 76's ever reclaim their past glory?
I guess nobody is interested in this topic. Maybe this thread could be closed because, technically, it is closed anyway.
personally i kind of miss the celtics doing well in the NBA. i think it would good for things if they could become a 60 win team again for a while. but i miss the rockets doing well even more, so first things first bud.
Maybe Boston can be in a better position by allowing Larry Bird to have a piece of its franchise years ago? After Bird dedicated himself so much to the Celtics, the treatment they gave him was just awful.
i agree with you solid. i was born in 81 and although i dont remember the old days i do remember watching those teams in the mid and late 80's. i remember watching bird as a young kid and becoming enchanted with the nba. its to bad this has happened but what goes around comes around.
I am personally also a celtics fan, and in my opinion they have a bright future with all the young talent they have...
