The Celtics of last year were phenomenal Defensively, but what exactly made them so great on D? I know their bigs were able to rotate with great mobility, they had a great individual Defender in Posey, a solid defender in Pierce and ofcourse their offense was solid as well. Furthermore, how different were the Jordan rules the Pistons employed on Jordan ? I find it hilarious that the guy who uploaded the video potrays the NBA as if it were more physical today "kobe getting hit hard" when all you have to do is look at he fouls committed by the player in the 80's and 90's. What is so illegal about the Celtics defense?
This guy has a ridiculous man crush on Kobe. How many hours (days?) would it take to compile that analysis?? He had all kinds of arrows and markers on the highlights and clearly rehearsed his voiceover timing. Good grief, this guy is obsessed with Kobe.
Yes, quite a professional video but his disparaging remarks about the defense that Jordan faced was hilarious. I commented 1:21 Kobe shoots over Posey/Allen on a fadeaway "Jordan Never faced taller defenders"? Wtf, Is Kobe some midget shooting over a 6'10 defensive stalwart and Jordan is some 6'10 SG freak who played againt Muggsy bogues? But I'm left wondering what allowed the Celtics to be so effective against LBJ and Kobe.
That guy is annoying with his kobe infatuation. Michael Jordan never played against tough defenses? haha
lol this guy is such an idiot.. his highlights prove exactly why Kobe cost the Lakers that series: give me one play this dude "analyzed" where one of Kobe's teammates wasn't WIDE OPEN, and Kobe actually passed it to him! he had dudes in the corners the WHOLE TIME, wide open, waiting for the pass.. but, Kobe "ballhog" Bryant doesn't pass, he wants to score himself.. that's loser basketball for you, that's thug "me-first" mentality, that's why I hate this guy's guts because basketball has never been an individual sport, and Jordan would've NEVER achieved what he was able to achieve without his teammates.. and someone please introduce this guy to the concept of "hand-checking" ..what an idiot.. it seems like he's some 15 year old who just started watching basketball and fell in love with this cheap piece of crap Kobe.. he needs to actually WATCH Jordan games and how he was defended, then he can comment on how "unfair" Kobe has it.. I mean, are you kidding me? a handcheck could keep you from accelerating to the rim all together, it was the single most employed tactic on defense, it's actually quite r****ded NOT to allow handcheck, but Stern wanted more scoring to attract more "fans" to the game, so he ruined this great game for us..
I stopped as soon as he said MJ played in a watered down era of basketball. This guy is an idiot. Playoff basketball is going to be physical, with lots of body contacts. Kobe got away with his fair share of cheap shots as well, and certainly his "acting" did not help him sell the fouls. Besides Kobe, who flails his arms in random directions when he gets off a shot, fouled or not?
I think this was posted before. I stopped watching at the 1:21 mark, when he made the comment on Jordan Funny guy. I do get teh feeling the Narrator can start crying any minute in the video. He just whines to much. You can make a similar Video of Lebron James or Yao Ming
the main thing you need to pull from this video is paul p. defense when he was guarding LBJ in the ECF, he man handled king james so badly that i said wow, you're gonna tell me non of that is a foul Paul would hold on to james' arm and tug half the game no call.
