Last Friday, I got into a friendly argument with weslinder on the infernal Battier-Gay trade and I decided to change my sig to mock his (it was in fun). Doing that got me thinking - how often do people change their sigs or signatures around here? I know RocketMan Tex had the same signature forever ("Blues is a healer") but other than him, I can't remember anyone else using the same one for a long period of time. I used for a long time, a Homer Simpson quote in "In your FACE, space coyote!" but other than that, I haven't had anything that I have kept for a long time. So, how often do you change your sig? Once a week? Once a month? Some other timeframe? Or are you a RM Tex and never change it? Also, you can use this thread to talk about some of your favorite sigs. I always like moes' sig as he always has some interesting things in his. And even though I don't agree with him, I do find hotballa's sig funny.
I've changed it once recently...but before that I don't think I had ever changed it...so once in 7 years?
I guess you would have to vote once a year option then since you have changed it at least once. Ya, I thought about putting more choices - like once every several years but I didn't think many people would choose that one.
I screwed up with my vote - I'm more of the once every few months, maybe once a month crowd than once every two weeks. Oh well.
It varies. Sometimes I keep the same sig for a year and just add little things. Sometimes I do an entire makeover. I've never been one to quote others, but lately I've been going with a "Devin Harris sucks" theme as my header followed by a personal endorsement for my current favorite player, and of course my little ego-boost to remind me of when I won the survivor league the season before this one.
You lie. I know for sure you had a different one. I change it to reflect the state of my hometown teams... the glass is HALF FULL.
Used to change it all the time, but I ain't changin' this one. It's a keeper! Besides King Cheetah's and thadeus's's's, it's my favorite.
Every couple of months. Sometimes though I don't like the one I have and I end up dumping it in a few weeks. This one right now may not last much longer.
I've only changed mine a few times since joining, so maybe once a year? Though it's always had some form of Longhorn Fan-dom on there - that hasn't changed. The rest comes and goes.
Never had one and have them turned off, so I never even see the sigs y'all spend so much time on. Every now and then a post comes up that causes me to take a look.
I voted once every couple of months. But the truth is I only change it when I find a good quote I like. It just so happens that I have changed it a couple of times this year so I tried to fit it to the closest number. I have a Chuck quote and a Carl Landry quote I will change to after the Rockets move back into a playoff position in the stands and I can take off the Hollinger one. The other is from a Kentucky blog that I think fits the Rockets too... since both were/are underachieving. I will have to think about other people's that I like a lot.
Every couple of months, but I'll leave this one as long as Manny leaves his. There's a nice symmetry there.
