I'm in pain right now, so I'm wondering how often you can take Tylenol, Advil, etc. I know it says on the bottle "Every 4-6 Hours", but if you take it for what it's really worth you can go ahead and say 4. It only says 6 for pansies. From there, if you factor in a liver with a proven track record in resiliency you can probably go with ~2 hours, right?
You can probably take quite a few of them. Just don't accidentally fall into a warm bath and cut your wrists on a sharp piece of soap. ** I've always heard that you can take advil and tylenol at the same time because they do different things. Is this true?
I wouldn't chance it. There has been a sharp rise in acetaminophen poisonings because people take extra pills becuse they think it will help the pain faster. It causes liver failure and once yo start to shows signs of that I've heard it's bye-bye.
A doctor once told me to take 4-5 because the recommended dose is too weak. But remember, these pain killers thin blood, so you don't want to take too many. Plus, they don't really "kill" pain enough to be worth taking a lot.
