If this thread exists, ... just wondering how much all you swolebacks lift incline dumbell press and shoulder press...

    Incline Dumbbell Press -
    Shoulder Press -

This is not meant to be a pissing match, I'm just trying to see what's 'normal'.

Also, does anyone who lifts believe the crap line of 'I don't want to lift too heavy because I DON'T WANT TO GET TOO BIG'??? Have you ever met anyone who said they got too swole? I think it's just a big crock of **** and you should lift as heavy as safely possible. Please correct me if I'm wrong... and I definitely believe I could be... calling out all CF Swolebacks!!!

Some people don't want that stocky look. Personally I'd rather be lean and agile with muscle in the right places and good strength. I'm not trying to get "as big as possible". I don't think that is ideal.

Doesn't matter how much you lift if you look like ****....unless you're a powerlifter.

See that's the thing... my problem is with people who say lifting heavy is the cause... I believe you have to eat a specific way if you want to lift super-heavy. However, if you eat how you normally eat, I think you should lift as heavy as you can lift. Does that make sense? And I noticed nobody answered my questions, so I'll start... 95 lbs x 8 reps for incline bench and 80 lbs x 8 reps for shoulder press... last of 4 sets for each... obv start lower.

And I especially wanted your input Rodman, since I've lurked and seen your lifting, and respect your opinion.

I go for 10 reps,, focus more on your form and negatives than how much you lift

You can be lean and toned. 250 at 5% body fat is different then 250 at 20% body fat

10 reps on your last set tho? I know that negs work the muscles and positives work the CNS, but I wouldve thought 4-6 heavy reps would be ideal on the last set... like I said, I'm not claiming to know, just throwing around ideas trying to find the right answer. Thanks for your response.

It all depends on what program you're on. 4-6 reps is fine I guess if you're trying to increase strength. I dont think their is a right or wrong answer really

Doing each body part 1 time a week right now... like I said, my last set has been 8 reps, but trying to toss around ideas to see why I shouldn't go heavier for less reps. I'm not overweight btw, 5'11 190lbs currently, 12%bf... goal is 180 eventually.

I've been at 6% before, but it's very hard to maintain and you feel miserable... Bulking and currently at around 10-11% maybe.

Hmmm if that's 10-11%, then I may be at 15%. Just going by what the caliper says, but obv those can be way off... could also have to do with differing builds... I'm def an endo, and it appears you're a meso/ecto.

Go to google. Search "need help w/ my workout plan". It might be helpful for you.

Thanks, but not looking for generic help. I was hoping for input from random people I don't know... it's always more interesting and helpful to get a wide range of advice.

It was from Clutchfans. "Need help w/ my workout plans Clutchfans" is what you should search. There were like 5 guys that helped with different topics on there. It might be helpful for what you are looking for.

LOL that guy def took too many pictures, but no hate. Looks like he used to be overweight and transformed himself... can't fault him for wanting to document it. I bet Ricky IS way swoler than most people in this thread.
