How much will it cost us to resign Scola?

    I think he might become too expensive if he gets much better. My relatively uneducated guess is that he could fetch a full MLE right now. Anyone think he could get more? Or am I overvaluing him?

    agree.if we fetch Scola a full MLE,that's worthful.

    if les keeps shooting at the trophy, one day he's gonna have to exceed the lux tax line. i know money-wise it sucks for him, but it is what it takes to get out of the west.

    we still got him for another year. Lets see how he plays and how landry plays.

    Right now, I agree he is worth the MLE at most. Things could change in either direction.

    I think he's worth the MLE at the LEAST. Call me the pessimist and champion conservative of the BBS. :cool:

    Depends on the free agent market that year, but I think the MLE will be the starting point and not the ceiling.

    I'm very weary of this too. I really hope we can retain Scola. We shall see where his loyalties lie hehe.

    Even without him, a Landry/Hayes combo is quite good, but we would miss Scola so much.
