i'm not sure if this helps, but the ncaa tourney earns a school about a million per game, as of 2005 (when i worked for a D1 basketball team). its part of the cut from being nationally televised, and having really high ratings. plus you gotta figure that each home game for the playoffs is sold out which some teams don't usually get during the regular season (bucks, hawks, etc...). so for some teams that can be considered extra money earned from a playoff game. so to answer your question, i don't know lol.
I can't remember the exact figures, but I know the "insider" on the Nugs board I post on mentioned that the team was pulling down at least $1 mil a game by the WCF between TV rights and tickets and merchandise.
I wonder if players like Garrett Temple make more $$$$ because they were on a playoff roster for 10 games? DD
I think espn did a report on this a few years back and each home game can bring in as much as $5 mil for a team, and a team like the lakers can easily pull more than that with their ridiculous playoff ticket prices
