How much time do you spend on Clutchfans.net everyday?

I am on here pretty much all day while at work.

 

even if i don't post that much, and even if i am a knick fan, i always check clutchfans and the bbs and i usually stick for about 2 hours

 

In kind of depends on what is going on in my life on how long I am here. For example, now, during the summer with little else to do, I have this site open the majority of every day. However, during school or other times in my life, I may just occasionaly check in every once in a while just to read up on things.

 

I used to be over 2 hours when I was at work and had access to a computer all day. Now I don't work there so much and can only get to a computer in the morning (now) and evening for about 30 mins to an hour.

I used to spend ALOT more time here...normally I have the window open while at work...but I have been busy lately and dont really have time to read half of what is posted...much less respond to much of it.

and when Im off work...every once in while( a couple times a day) Ill login and see if anything new and worthwhile has been posted.....but right now, real life has seriously intruded upon my CC.net time.

so overall...I would say....I probably actually spend no more than a couple of hours a day here......way down from my old time of upwards of 6 hours a day in past years.

 

So if I everyone from ClutchFans.net jumps off a cliff...

 

the internets total traffic would decrease by a factor of ten.

 

Ditto. More than 2 hours as the highest choice is going to tip this poll big time. I'm on here 8+ hrs a day.

 

at my last job, I was here all the time...at least 3 hrs. plus a day...now, i actually have to work, so I limit it...a little in the morning, a little at lunch and right before i go home...i'm so addicted...

 

After all of these years posting here I notice patterns in my posting/lurking. I go through periods where I am very active, usually a couple months at a time, and then I go through a period where I lurk like a muh. I'm like OnStar. Always there. Always ready. But I don't post. Then I will cycle throug a few months of, "I am so sick of it." This usually follows heated political debate. then I cycle back to actively posting. I lurk very heavily during the Rockets season but find that I post more when the Rox are off.

 

I keep the site open in my browsers both at home and at work all day long. I spend 8+ hours checking the site during work hours and then usually an hour or two at home. adds up to 8-10 hours a day. No wonder I average 6.x posts per day even though I lurked for 9 months once I signed up.

 

i actually post maybe for like 30-45 minutes.


But I leave the browser open for a long ass time.

 

Gonna get a skewed response posting in the hangout....

 

Too damn much. It's a wonder I still have a job...

I've noticed that most of the posts happen during the day on weekdays. Does anyone actually have to <i>work</i> at their jobs, or is it just me?

Haven't been on much lately... doing research all day. My student would catch on if I did that. Then there are things like the actual teaching of classes and labs. Of course, since I have no life, I just come on here Friday night... and there's no one posting much of anything.
