See this page for a good indication. Roughly 4 million dollars or the salaries of Thomas Robinson, & Royce White (or stretched Royce White) & waiving the non guaranteed contracts of Brooks, Delfino, Anderson, Ohlbrecht.

Add in the extra incomplete roster charge, and the Rockets can still get to ~$20.18 million in cap room if they also deal Smith for a pick. Close enough to make a legit contract offer to Dwight.)

Bottom line: I'm not too worried about the cap coming in at $58.5 million. The Rockets can make the moves necessary to offer Dwight a super-max contract, or at least something very close to it, without really hurting their core or jettisoning too many future prospects. Even if Dwight demands every last penny, the Rockets can accommodate him without materially harming themselves now or in the future.

Also, the Rockets could trade Brooks and Delfino on draft day for 2nd round picks to fill out the roster.

That would leave the Rockets with:
Lin/Beverley
Harden
Parsons
Jones/DMo
Dwight/Asik

With pick #34, the Room Exception, and whatever the Rockets received in preceding trades.
