Now that Larrys' the new head...

:D After Les makes Brown the head man, how much power does he give him?
Does he get as much say and control Rudy had?
What type of changes does he want from this club or does he go with what he has?

IMO he will make big changes looking to get quick results. He will try to get players that fit in with his style. I hope he doesn't get a bunch of over the hill type players like McKee and Tyrone(ugly man)Hill. We don't need to get older just for the sake of getting older. Having said that we realy don't need to get any younger either. We simply need to get a few hungry players wanting to win with play-off experience. He loves Ming and Francis. He also seems to like Cat with Francis in the backcourt. It will be interesting to see what he tries to do with the rest of the roster. Of all the coaches in the running, he is the best at making changes to teams while making them better, always tweaking.

Looking at his style what changes would be expected? Lets not talk about what we want, but rather what the man running the show wants.

You should clarify more. :D Had me thinking Larry Smith was coaching  Besides, Larry Brown coaching the Rockets is no where near definite.

For being over the hill, Tryone Hill was sure grabbing some boards last season. He was among league leaders in rebounding most of the season. Personally, I was disappointed the Rockets didn't try to claim him off waivers last season. He fills our need of a physical, rebounding inside presence and he could do for a cheap price. Those of you holding out for Elton Brand or P.J. Brown are going to have to recognize that the Rockets have all ready given the franchise to Steve Francis and will soon have to anty up to keep Yao Ming. There will be no big free agent signings unless it's for a one year contract. The Rockets have to be top hyena on the leftovers.
