How much are you all paying for cable and high speed internet and what packages? I want to see if I'm getting ripped off or can get some leverage for a better deal.
$99.64 - cable (includes everything except HBO, Showtime, etc) plus very high speed cable modem for internet - I go through charter. I think the very high speed adds like 20 to 30 dollars to my bill.
A total of around $160.00 a month. That is for extended digital cable (all the channels) in two rooms and high speed internet from Cox.
$40 a month with crappy TV MAX. Stupid apartment complex and their alliance with crappy cable services. And stupid tree in my patio blocking my LoS for DirecTV or Voom!
Anyone here have Comcast? Did you call tech support within the past couple of weeks? If so, there's a chance you talked with me.
After watching the news tonight, I'm scared of Comcast. $40 a month with crappy TV MAX. Stupid apartment complex and their alliance with crappy cable services. And stupid tree in my patio blocking my LoS for DirecTV or Voom! I have the same problem, though I have Grande Communications (the third owner of the cable system in the 2.5 years I've lived here), and it's terrible. And it's a chimney that blocks my only LOS for DirecTV. There's some thought I might could get DISH, though, but I don't want to call them out here if I don't know for sure. I don't understand why apartment complexes make deals with cable companies to provide inferior service to its residents. What's the thinking on that?
$126 a month for the apartment. One digital TV with all premium channels and Road Runner high speed Internet. $39 a month for the satellite dish at the weekend home. One digital TV.
26.95 for SBC Yahoo DSL 42.99 (135 Channels including Local) + 5.99 (Directv Protection Plan) = 48.99. So total: $76/month. Then gotta get the NBA League Pass (get it early and it will cost $200+ w/ taxes).
40 a month for cable and cable tv. Since i have earthlink and it runs through timewarner i have bootleg cable to each tv in the house.
anyone trying Time Warner's new DigitalPhone yet? they keep calling to try and get us to sign up. It's $40 a month for local and unlimited long distance. i don't know about not being able to use the phone when the power goes out though. plus i wonder if it would affect your cable modem connection/speed when using both at the same time
average about 140mo...depending on the movies I buy Package: have to lookup the deal but it consists of RR, digital tv downstairs, reg cable upstairs, some pay channels (Sund,IFC, etc)
$80/month....digital cable with all of the HBOs, Cinemax, Showtime and Encore channels. About 40 different channels that show flicks. The only pay channel service I don't have is The Movie Channel. One digital cable box.
