I know that the new CBA will only allow so much right ? what is that amount ?

Say there wasn't a new CBA how much do you think teams would be willing to offer Francis? 12 mill a yr? 15 mil ? you put your thoughts in..................

The max under the new CBA is 9 million per season for a person with Francis' experience in the league.

If not, we would see some astronomical numbers flying at Francis. I'd guess close to 15 million.

If he becomes a like a 23-8-6 type of a guy, then I'd say around 18-20 million.

Lets get Steve rich before he hits the age that Olajuwon signed his big contract at. [IMG]

Under the new CBA, could Olajuwon still make that much if he resigned, lets say....Last year?

BTW guys, look at how long I've been here and the # of my posts. [IMG]

    The Cat,

Actually, the $9m Max is not static. It moves up with the salary cap. I've believe it is more accurate to say that the max for Francis will be $9m or 25% of the salary cap (whichever is greater).

Damn! When Steve becomes a free agent I was going to sign him for a 5 minute contract. Looks like I wont be able to afford it now! [IMG] [IMG]
