Well, Hakeem is now gone and we, quite obviously, have a huge hole at the 5. Maybe I'm wrong about this, but it seems to me that everyone out there knows this. This, of course, would include other teams and free agents. In light of the rules of supply and demand, does this mean we might have to take on more salary than is actually justified to actually land someone to shore up the 5? Jackson has indicated that he would love to play for the Rox, but has his asking price gone up because he knows we are becoming desperate? The same can be said for any trades we might make to acquire someone. Are we going to get shafted in any potential trades out there because the other teams know that we have a very real, very big problem? Just a thought. Hope that it isn't real, but what if it is? I don't want to take on another Cato like contract because we are scrambling to address a new, glaring problem. [Edit: BTW, Clutch...love the new look!
