Do a little bit of work, at least, man. http://www.nba.com/nba_tv/league_pass.html or http://www.comcast.com Answered. "Tell him what he's won, Johnny!" "Yes, he wins a LOCK!"
NBA League pass usually runs between $135 and $180 depending on when you get it and what special they're running. The pros - you get to watch the Rockets and a bunch of other games if you're not in town. The cons - it costs money.
In the time it took you to think up this snide comment, you could have look around the link you posted (which I've actually been to) and realized it doesn't contain a price. I don't want to call the number listed to ask for the price because I am at work. So that is why I am asking if anyone here has bought it before and know the price.
Rockets have ~30 games on national TV. So that's ~50 more that I would get additional which works out to be about $3 each game, and now that I have DVR I can actually watch them all. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me. Thanks for the info.
Yeap. I noticed it. It explains some stuff in there. It also explains who carries it. It also says that COMCAST is not there. Also, in the time it took YOU to answer twice and post on this BBS, you could have called the company. Plain and simple. Also, the SEARCH FUNCTION on THIS BBS is your friend. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?p=1539152&highlight=league+pass#post1539152 and http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=84960&highlight=league+pass were on my results. I am just trying to help you out, man, don't get mad at me for doing YOUR work.
I wish it was that cheap for me...i just had to pay for Game Day and Sunday Ticket..talk about my account taking a hit....if only i could pay regular prices at the bar lol
Well, I didn't this year. A couple of years ago when everybody else was getting it for $150 or so, they offered me the same package for $130-something. Last year I paid $170- or $150- something I think. I was just saying they charge different prices at different times. They may not go down to the $135 price again - who knows.
FYI : I've had Comcast for the past 3 or 4 years and they've had NBA League Pass. I'm thinking about switching to DirecTV this year, though (not related to League Pass or anything).
My experience with satellite have not been that great. Although I had dish network which may just be cheap and not good. They didn't have as many HD channels as cable, and didn't have NESN in their basic package like Comcast does, and so I couldn't watch Red Sox games. Not to say I like the Red Sox that much but it's a good feature to have. Why do you want to switch away from Cable?
More satellite channels are digital and I think I may be able to get it a bit cheaper, although I'm not positively sure about that. I had Dish Network at an apartment complex and the billing nightmares they caused me have put me off ever going with them. If I go with satellite, it will definitely be for DirecTV. Does Dish Network have NBA League Pass? I know when I had them, they didn't offer it. The baseball and football passes aren't that important to me, but I have to have NBA League Pass. Oh, and I generally just hate Comcast... it's in my blood.
Here is a list of Direct TV Packages http://www.directvsports.com/Subscriptions/ And here is Dish Network https://customersupport.dishnetwork.com/customercare/payperview/prepSeasonTicketList.do Definently a plus to go with Direct TV with all theire packages.
You can get the League Pass Early Bird Special for $159 plus tax, it raises to $180 plus tax after that. You can also just get the 2nd half of the season for cheaper, but you might as well go all the way. Pros: You get most of the Rocket games and if you are an NBA fan, chances are you'll watch all sorts of games. Cons: $180 is a lot of money, but I personally think it's totally worth it.
