just an idea from a friend, bascially list the stuff you carried with you today (excluding cash/debit/credit cards and or body organs) to work, school, whatever, and the price (that you paid for), pretty suprising sums for most people. i will start North Face gortex w/fleece-$300 Levi redwire jeans-$42 Reebok classic-$30 Bannana republic boxer-$3 Polo socks-$2 iPod nano-$150 CRKT m16 13-sf-$59 Nike flexon-$150 LG CU 200-$50 Casio Watch-$60 Zippo-$17 Hat-$12 wallet-$13 Total:$888
Interesting thread. I guess we should do this without counting depreciation... right? Underwear and socks -- $5 Suit -- $300 Shoes -- $80 Shirt -- $100 Tie -- $100 Glasses -- $200 Ipod Nano -- $200 Wallet -- $10 Cash -- $180 Cell phone -- $200 Coat -- $200 So about $1500 bucks I guess...
the north face gortex is a jacket, the crkt is a folding knife, nike flexon are my prescription lenses, and the LG CU 200 is my phone. looks like kam got most of them right.

HA! Like you could get retail for all that stuff. You MIGHT be able to get 30 bucks for all those clothes if you sold them at a garage sale, $10 for the knife, maybe $20 for the ipod, the sunglasses are worthless because they're prescription, pawn shops won't pay crap for a watch unless it has gold or diamonds on it, so maybe $5 at a garage sale, and maybe $2 for the lighter. $75 for the whole lot, tops...
North Face Fleece - $150 APC Jeans - $140 TShirt - $30 Thermal Shirt - $20 Nike Dunks - $70 Target Boxers - $5 Target Socks - $3 Total - $418
Exactly. The thread title should have been "how much you paid for all the stuff you carry with you today."
