I think its been 2 weeks maybe slightly more? Yao himself says he is ahead of sceduale so do you guys see him returning in 2 more weeks or will he sit out the entire 6 weeks? Give me your thoughts guys. Go Rockets!!!

I think 2 more weeks is highly improbable. They are saying around the allstar break, and that he doesn't want to rush it, so shortly after allstar break? that's something like 4-5 weeks.

He's been out for 2 weeks and 3 days. It seems like a decade long.
Anyway, with the Rockets playing like this, there's no need for Yao to rush back. So it will be 6 more weeks.

6 weeks was the minimum timetable, and that's just for him to get back to on court drills. Just hope he's back March 1st. I'm not going to be expecting anything from him before then.

He saw that specialist guy in Chicago, and that guy pretty much agreed w/ the Rox guys assessment leaning more towards 8 weeks.

And that's before he even starts rehabbing/ practicing. It'll take him another couple weeks or so to be game ready.

We're doin well right now, I want him to take his time and just be at 100% for playoff time b/c we're not in a whole lot of danger to miss the playoffs.

There is no way Yao misses another 6 to 8 weeks. I don't care what this Clown in Chicago says he'll be back most likley in 2 to 3 weeks max 4 weeks. Yao himself said he's ahead of scedaule so couple that with the fact he's a quick healer he'll be back in half that time. It seems some of you guys would just love Yao to be out longer than 6 weeks and thats messed up. All the Yao haters need to get a life. Go Rockets!!!

They will hold him out to make sure he is healed....my guess is he eases back in after the all star break.

I still think Yao comes back in 3 to 4 weeks. Yao has always returned earlier than expected so I expect the same this time around. You guys will be surprised when he returns early mark my words it will be 3 to 4 weeks not 6 to 8 weeks or longer as some moron stated on here. Go Rockets!!!
