My family growing up was always about 3 meals a day. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But, now that im older(twenty), I have kept my weight, (im in shape) and I only eat one time a day. I might have a morning snack, but other than that I have one ok sized meal, with something to drink and im full off of it. I think three times a day (or more) is too much and its just a way for buisnesses to make money because if you eat three times a day for ten years.....then your body will most likely require three meals a day. But, if you dont eat alot then your body dosent crave alot, right? Ive heard that eating like five small meals is the way to go, but maybe three small meals would do it. BTW, I eat around 1 or 2 p.m. So,....How many times do you guys eat a day? So....How many times do you
I eat a toaster strudel for breakfat, and take some cheese and peanut butter crackers with me to work. The only full meal I eat is in the evening around 6:30, so I only eat once too. It's always a big meal with all the fixins. Tonight was New York strip, baked potato, corn on the cob, baked beans, a chef salad... and a big glass of ice tea.
Light breakfast (either oatmeal or a nutrigrain bar) at 7:30 Regular lunch at 12:00 (usually a sandwich and chips) Dinner at 6:30 so two regular meals and a small meal...never eat snacks BTW, if you are not eating meals to lose weight, breakfast is the most important meal to have...your body goes into starvation mode (slowing your metabolism) if you don't eat enough and a light breakfast lets it know not to slow down
I use to eat 5 meals a day, three meals and two snacks...I was in great shape...now two to three and I can tell a difference...the 5 meals keep my metabolism up and I need to get back on track...
Snack 10am Lunch 12:30 Light Meal 3:30 Dinner 7:30 Snack anywhere from 10pm-12am Someone told me smaller meals spread throughout the day is healthier, don't know why.
breakfast (usually 2 eggs, 2 bacon, usually alternate between grits or toast) - 7:30 light lunch (probably no more than a sandwich) - 1 PM medium dinnner, it depends - 8 PM
Usually just lunch and dinner. Its not good though. Breakfast is by far the most important meal of the day. But yeah, 5-6 small meals throughout the day is the best. It keeps your metabolism steady instead of fluctuating like it does with 2-3 big meals.
I usually eat two meals a day, no earlier than 11:00am and no later than 11:00pm. When it comes down to it, there is no magic number. Its more important on what and how much you consume. Eating a single 1000 calorie a day meal will eventually turn into two meals a day. Before you know it, the lbs will start building up.
Light breakfast, usually a small pack of Beef Jerky, a nutrition bar or some PIZZA GOLDFISH!!! Yes, I crave it in the mornings for some reason. Light lunch, usually Hobo's, Subway (no chips, water to drink), or maybe one of those unusually high sodium TV dinners from Boston Market. Cheap, but god I am sick to death of those. An hour later, usually some type of sweets. A few peanut M&M's, Snickers, One Twix bar, anything sweet. For dinner, whatever I feel like. I don't do much fast food at all, prefer the grilled fish/pork chops...steak without the potato, pasta...NEVER eat past 8PM. 8-9 Beers after work. This is my downfall. 6'1", 185 lbs. Take away the beer and the 185 would probably be 170 lbs. Exercise would probably make me an Ethiopian as my metabolism is high, still at 35. Plus, those weights are heavy. Not a fan of heavy.
Depends on the day... Almost always on test days I usually may eat a meal in the morning and then not eat the whole day, depression of taking tests gets me. Other days.... it's just up and down.. some days I could eat a chocolate bar and that would be it for the whole day... other days I could eat and pack my stomach with frozen selections and then also eat out... so some days its not at all and some days its 3-4 times a day (which include snacks).
I eat alot... I out ate someone that's 6'3" 250+ lbs at roundtables pizza. I'm about 170lbs 5'8.5". 3 meals a day, 2 lunches (one at 12:00 then around 3~4), then dinner at late night... and I'm not the type to say no to a doughnut. But I do work out regularly if you include 2 weekly nights of playing basketball "working out".
