How many times can you shave?

    Before getting a new blade?

I usually can go maybe 3 shaves before the blade becomes uncomfortable.

I dunno, I change blades every 2 or 3 weeks. So maybe 12-18 shaves (I don't really shave every day if I don't have to).

I use a double edge safety razor and switch up after 2 shaves.

    You people are women.

I go 3 or 4 moths before changing blades. And I stopped using shaving cream and just dry shave when I get out of the shower.

You guys need to take better care of your blades. It is from them being left wet after the shave that causes a problem. Dry them off and store them well and they will last much longer.

probably close to 20, and i could probably go to 30 - as said, dry your blade off after shaving - keeps it sharper longer - towel dry or blow dry the blade.

i learned that from clark howard!

Same here. I also go months without changing blade and don't use shaving cream either. But I generally keep a stubble at all times. I only change the blade if there is rust on it.

Also depends on what you're using. Gillette Fusion blades typically last a couple of months or more before they require replacing. And they are by far the most comfortable I've used -- I shave against the grain constantly and I get virtually no irritation or bumps. And I'm a black guy.

Wow 3 to 4 months? I usually shave like once a week so usually a blade lasts almost a month. I might try drying my blade see if I can get more than 3 shaves out of it.

Sometimes I go over my face twice to get the extra close shave, so yeah, I really don't know. I'd say a good 60 though possibly more and it doesn't irritate my skin. Those color strips that change color when its time to change your blade are worthless I can guarantee you that.

What age did you guys have to start shaving your back hair? I'm nearly 29 and its not ape man ****, but still annoying. Mine starting becoming noticeable around 26.

I don't shave my face with the razor very often, because I prefer the slight stubble of the cheap electric shaver I have. I mostly just keep the traditional razor for cleaning up the neckline. I can't tell you the last time I bought one either.

Literally the one thing every man should willingly spend extra money on, even upwards of $100.

I use Fushion blades, and they tend to last around a month or so a piece. I try to not shave on days I don't have too.

The majority of the time I shave with, followed by against the grain.
