a girl got into my truck tonight, on the way to see star wars, and to make room for her, i had to shove 3 pairs of shoes behind the seats...she commented that i have a lot of shoes for a guy...so i was wondering if this is really true. i mean, i know the standard used to be that guys could live off of 3 pairs of shoes...but i can't. here's my list: -black dress shoes -brown dress shoes -clean black skate shoes (for going out in jeans) -clean white skate shoes (barely ever wear them) -dirty skate shoes (for mowing the lawn or just whatever) -outdoor basketball shoes -indoor basketball shoes -sandals -soccer cleats -steel toe boots so yeh, 10 pairs of shoes...what do you have?
i could probably get by with around 5, but i keep old shoes around (clean white skate shoes and old skate shoes) and also have the seasonal shoes (summer = outdoor basketball shoes aka my old basketball shoes and soccer cleats).
damn...i meant that to be in the 16-20...i was meaning 16 and beyond...and to specify. but that's a crazy amout of shoes.
but you don't even know how much more than 20 it is. I'm just gonna say it's a lot more and leave it at that lest the vultures on this board subject me to further ridicule
haha...no. i don't think that'll be happening anytime soon - unless she really digs my attempt of taking a picture of her on tuesday.
Do flip-flops count? If so, I've got... flip-flops: - black (2 pair) - white (2 pair) - blue (3 pair - dark, medium, and light) - purple - red - orange-ish - brown at least 2 pairs of brown heels black heels silver heels black boots 3 pairs of tennis shoes and a pair of sandals.... That makes at least 20 right there. Then there's all the other shoes I've bought for special occasions that I haven't worn since, but since I paid for them, I won't throw them away just yet. But those don't really count....
summer shoes winter shoes tennis shoes soccer shoes for grass soccer shoes for artificial grass(not sure what the english term for this is) basketbal shoes. old shoes(for walking the dog) climbing shoes wooden shoes(ok not really but i would disapoint you if i didn't include this one) so i have to say 8. i think she tought you had alot of shoes because you had 3 pairs in your carr. it i saw that i would think the same
I probably have a bunch of old shoes in the closet somewhere, but they don't count because I never, I mean never, wear them. In terms of normal shoe rotation: -running shoes that I wear most days, most places -flip flops (for whenever I think I should remember what's in style... still, both of my pairs are so last year, but I'm not buying any more and everyone is going to have to deal with these) -dress shoes (2 duplicate pairs) Other specialty shoes that are necessary sometimes: water shoes, old tennis shoes, hiking boots. Also, some different dress shoes that my mom keeps giving me that I never bother to wear. I don't understand some girls' fascination with shoes. Whatever works, I guess. I don't understand why they're supposed to be fun to buy or make you feel special. To me, they're something that you wear on your feet, and that's that. I have enough trouble deciding what to wear every day without having to pick out different shoes too.
Hmmm... I have a decent amount of pairs but the thing is that I tend to wear the same couple of pairs day in day out... I don't have a massive rotation, as Isabel mentioned about herself. Anyway, - Football boots x3 (soccer) - same as arno, astroturf soccer shoes - usual pair of trainers (sneakers) - outdoor basketball - another older pair of outdoor basketball that I use for other stuff - old shoes - dress shoes brown - dress shoes black
basketball/sports shoes the same type of shoes for wearing to class and other non-active things. these eventually replace the basketball shoes when those wear out. black dress shoes so 3
If sandals count then: 2 pairs black dress shoes 2 pairs basketball shoes 1 pair puma casual 1 pair madden casual 2 pair sandals 1 pair running shoes
1 walking sneaker pair (wearing them now) 2 basketball-playing pair (one is old, one is semi-new) 3 dressy-casual-working pair 1 soccer cleats pair I make my tennis shoes and sneakers last 2 to 3 years. I have only purchased 2 pair since my kids were born. My kids' shoe needs come before my anything needs.
Black Vans Blue vans White and Blue airwalkers 2 brown casual 1 brown dress 1 black dress 1 Nike running sweet.
so THAT'S why I can never get picked up in a basketball game, because I only have one pair of basketball shoes! All this time, I thought it was because I can't dribble or shoot very well...
