how many games do you think tmac and yao will play in this year? ive got tmac for 76 and yao for 82....if that happens, we will win 60 easily
i think for this team to win 60 both guys will have to be extremely healthy. but i guess that goes with out saying. i guess peg me for yao - 80 games tmac - 78 games rockets 67 wins
Tracy played 70 last year while carrying the whole team. with the additional help of james, francis, scola and butler that load will be alight lighter. hence kless stress on he's body 70 to 75 should be a realistic option. Asfor yao, people to makeup this myth that yao is injury prone. prior to breaking he's knee, yao was an ironman. playing with a sever case of a ingrown toe nail till he got it fixed. So unless yao suffers another Freak Accident, yao missing games is a non-issue.
I think the Rockets will win 83 regular season games, with a bonus added after finishing the season perfect. Rafer will average 25.5 ppg, 15.0 apg and win the MVP.
Tracy- 67- His inevitable nagging injuries will come up. Yao- 80- Past couple injuries were bad luck.
He played 71 games last season. with more help now, what makes you think he'll miss more games?. adelman clearly has said he'll do everything possible to make the load easier for tracy to miss less games.
tracy about 70 games and yao just 65 games. 55 wins is enough to get the home advantage for 1st round
I don't think more help will automatically mean he will be less injury prone. I think he will have a stretch or 2 where the back is an issue.
For the past couple of years now, I've had this uneasy feeling that Yao's injuries will become more and more frequent with each passing year. That doesn't mean that he will miss more games, but that he will probably suffer more and more 'nagging' injuries that will force him to miss games here and there or just limit his effectiveness on the court. I know everyone worries about McGrady because he just looks more 'fragile', but Yao has been more injury-prone the past three seasons than any rotation player on the team. I think his foot will always be an issue...
Well it will help.meaning he'll have to carry less load and he dosent need to spend so much time on the floor. what i like the most about these signings is it'll man tracy can play less minutes during regular season so he's body can be fresh for the playoffs. same thing goes for yao.
this is completely random. but how is it that you're a rookie with 5000 posts? the question has been bugging me for months. lol
I know this is off topic BUT...Rockets schedule will be released august 1st people woo hoo!! cant wait..
Maybe. but for a guy of he's stature and size, i think he's done extra-ordinarly well to play as much as he has.i'm not including the freak accidents like breaking he's leg in utah or breaking he's lnee in houston. look at sabonis, the guy was injury prone as they come. I just think yao besides the ingrown toe nail, has'nt been really had any major issues with nagging injuries thus far.
Is that a cheapshot?. anyhow, i made a stupid comment and i got demoted. i fully deserved it. since the comments i made where extremly tasteless.
76 games for T-Mac. After going to Steve Patterson, T-mac's back has been doing well. He did go out for consecutive games, only a game a month. 60 games for Yao. His shoulder is fine now, but I see it getting worse when he battles other centers during the season.
obviously both are going to play 98 games... fo' fo' fo' fo'!!! Realistically i see yao playing 81 just because he might get a cold or something and T-mac playing 70 since he's got mr John Patterson miracle healer.
