Just because Shaq was in the game when Yao dunked doesn't mean Shaq was dunked on. I don't recall him getting dunked "on", but he was in the vicinity on at least 2 Yao dunks. One where he clubbed Yao in the head and another where he was in the background.

A lot of the time Yao gets dunked on because he rotates and tries to get back or he tries to protect the basket against somebody else 's man. Shaq and other big men don't usually challenge dunks. They block jump shots but they normally give up and walk out of the picture when they see a dunk coming or they foul the guy hard. They don't get posterized but I think it is cowardice. Shaq fouled Yao hard once on a dunk off a reb. He stayed out of the picture twice on the dunks down the middle that came from Cat's passes. Shaq won't get any dunk on me either if he plays me. I'd simply walk out of the picture.
All you guys talking about Yao dunking on Shaq missed possibly the greatest play of the game. Yao never dunked on Shaq per se. The play that had me wow'ing was a play where Yao backed Shaq down. Now that's a stud move. You just don't back Shaq down like that... I don't recall what the result was. Maybe Yao got fouled, but he banged and got low post position on the Big Oaf.
whenever we see yao get dunked on...houston fans, dont feel ashamed...especially if it wasn't his man... feel proud, honoured, and respected because we have what the league sorely lacks...someone with courage, someone who will protect us, our last line of defense, someone who doesn't care about stupid sportscenter, someone instead giving it all he has to try to alter someone's shot, even if the chances are slim, for the betterment of the team... is there any better team player than Yao? Shaq displayed his cowardice on two of Yao's dunks...yeah, Yao didn't dunk on him, but how can you when the dude runs away? Be proud houston fans, Yao definitely has the heart of a champion and is our centerpiece... in this day and age, bling, highlights, posturing, its all getting so old....Yao is a true champion with courage that we can all look up to...
