I suppose you could make a case for the Jordan Bulls teams. But remember, they still had the most dominant rebounder in history (Rodman), along with two wing players that dominated the NBA and got to the rim at will.

Now, name me any other teams that won an NBA championship without having a dominant defensive paint presence and and offense that was predicated on getting to the rim primarily.

The late 80s/early 90s Pistons won two titles without a huge paint presence and an offense that was perimeter oriented (Thomas, Dumars, and the Microwave). They were, however, extremely physical and had a bunch of lanky role players (like Salley & Rodman) that were excellent one-on-one defenders both in the post and on the perimeter.

The last 2 Laker championship teams in the 80s.

Also, are you aware that the Bulls won 3 championships before Rodman joined the team?

well they did have grant and bill cartwright (spelling?) who were in their own right are excellent rebounders and defenders. Also cartwright was actually not a bad back to the basket post player.
