After a short week, it's finally Friday! I'm thinking somewhere in the neighborhood of around 10 Miller Lites, supplemented with a few Jaeger bombs should do the trick.
Gonna try a 6 pack of this strange Pulque stuff I found....and a couple leftover beers from my fridge.
0.75 liters of Southhampton Double White 0.75 liters of Brooklyn Local 1 0.75 liters of Stone Imperial Russian Stout Then maybe so No macro swill will pass these lips unless absolutely necessary.
I assume you've had Rasputin? Good stuff, and I'm not even a fan of the style. Old Stock Ale is somewhere in the neighborhood of the Russian stouts, but better to me.
Yeah I like Rasputin, but I prefer Stone - mostly because, for some unknnown reason, the Grocery store across the street from me keeps a stash. I did not like old stock the first time I had it - but then I didn't really know what to look for in a barley wine back then. I might try it again and pair it with some stinky cheese.
I didn't have a short work week I had to work till 11 every night and start at 6. I thought the week would never end I am doing nothing but drinking tonight then drink while playing golf in the morning then drink at the astros game then come home and drink some more
old ale and rasputin are both pretty solid. try great divide's oak-aged yetti imperial oatmeal stout.... good stuff. ps - i've got a serious night of debauchery lined up tomorrow in SA, so i'm hoping to take it easy tonight... especially since i have to work in the morning. but i'll be damned if i dont have a bottle of dogfish head red and white sitting in my fridge just begging to be drank.
I've got a 12 of Becks and two bottles of Menage au Tois (sp?) so'll I'll probably drink a couple beers and one or two glasses of wine.
Just tried the Red & White last weekend. Good stuff, though nowhere near worth that price. (Mine was like $18...and bars sell it for $30!) I like the Chinese brew they do more, plus it's stronger and cheaper.
