    Extremely.

We have always tried to be competitive. We have always been a class organization. We always have hope, because we have a committed owner, and one of the most active and competitive general managers in the league. I am proud to be a Rocket fan with Les and Daryl running things. I don't think they are given enough credit, and are taken for granted. Constant whining and "Arm Chair GM'ing" lately. Half the owners in the league simply don't care, we have a great franchise here in Houston.

Basically, I really appreciate how Rocket's brass handles our city's franchise.

I can't imagine what it would be like to be a fan of any other team. We are very lucky.

Les and Morey should buy you an Xbox 360 for the kind words.

    ;)

    Yes, we are extremely lucky.

This is why it makes me so angry when people bash the organization.

I rather have Paul Allen and Morey. Imagine what Morey could do if he had all the money in the world to spend.

And Prickshard had as much merit if not more than Morey.

Pritchard was a turd that took credit for other people's work. That's the reason no one has picked him up yet.

If we let go for Morey for whatever reason...I would not be surprised if Cuban hired him an hour later.

we are very lucky there are plenty of teams with either stingy owners or bad GMs

i mean we know Les took a huge hit when the real estate market fell yet he kept spending for the team and made deals while staying just at or under the luxury tax. There has been no real trading of stars or meaningful role players just to save money. Sure Ariza was trade to save money but we got a very good piece back in Courtney Lee. It wasnt like Ariza was traded and all we got was a conditional 2nd round pick.

Also instead of selling draft picks Les has gone out and bought them as well.

Of course having a revenue source like Yao helps a lot but Les has shown he is an owner that wants to win even if it means him spending more money.

I look at other teams like the Suns whose owner also took a hit and he pretty much dismantled what could have been a potential championship team if not mini-dynasty (2 in 3 years) 5 years ago, sold draft picks and gave away guys just to save money.

I mean a core of Nash, Joe Johnson, Amare and Marion would have won a ring if they stayed together and there is enough marketing power in Amare, Nash and JJ for the suns to have made money....but no.

Also glad to have Morey as a GM he may not have had his big "we netted a star" move but he has made a lot of moves to fill the team with competitive good players who value exceeds or matches their contract overpaid players are what kill a team and Morey has yet to overpay a player (though people screamed Scola and Lowry were but they have proven so far this season that they are worth their new contract)

way too many people bash Les for being cheap, its really unfair take a look at some of the other teams in the league and see if Les is really cheap or not.

He dismantled a sure fire multiple championship team to save a few bucks.

traded Luol Deng to save money
traded Rajon Rondo to save money
traded Rudy Fernandez to save money
traded Serge Ibaka to save money

We are lucky to have the best logo among all the teams ;)
It's very contemporary unlike the other clip art logos of other teams. Give credit to Alexander and the marketing team to have the foresight and taste to use this logo!

With Red-Nation spearheaded by loyal fans here on Clutchfans.net the Rockets are a cash cow. The Rockets have a good owner, GM, Coach, and fan-base.

Having a good fan base makes things a lot easier for an owner. Heck I've seen these boards light up when the Rockets are stinking up the joint.
