They are all very out of shape, especially Tmac and Yao's stamina/speed. Yao looks skinnier than ever, has lost what little speed he once had, his shot is rusty and worse of all, he lost his lift, so he easily gets blocked, and out rebounded by people much shorter than him. In additon, Tmac has played inconsistently thus far, but shows us his 20-30 point performances he is capable of but plays exhasted the next game, his explosiveness is not there yet, and his jump shot has been off. Our third scorer, Ron Artest has shot the ball terribly and seems just as slow as Tmac. Scola has been terrible on D, and hasnt offered much help to Yao on the board. Finally, Rafer has been playing like JVG Rafer, having 1/4 games where his 3 ball goes in. Obviously all our players had a little bit too much fun in the summer, when they could have been getting in shape, but its still very early in the season and they have to get it together quickly or they will get screwed playing the Jazz again..

I bet yao is over 30. However, I know yao doesn't intentionally cheat us with disguezing his real age, he was force to as it is always a tradition for the chinese athletes to "delay" their birthdate a little bit, years or decades.

i thought the problem out of the olympics was that they were putting up their age?

I think it'll take some time. Just be patient. It's not easy fighting off an injury, and it'll just take a couple of months for them to get back in full shape. I think Ron has been working out a lot, so therefore he's bigger, but slower. Also, because his body has changed, maybe that could be a reason why he's missing some shots. His arms are stronger than before.
