I think the Rocks can win a title in 3 or 4 years. Steve will be at his prime, which is around 28 or 29. Hopefully CAT's D would have improved and he copies Kobe and puts on some muscle to play D. Cato is traded for something/anything. Yao proves to be a capable rebounder, defender, and excellent shot blocker and scorer from 20 feet in. If he can pull the Diesel out, the Lakers are in trouble. Rice contract is up and KT, Tmo, Neckbar step up to a next level. Eddie G replaces MoTaylor and provides true power forward reboudning and defense.
why do you call him neckbar? anyways, i'd say 3 or 4 years before we're perennial contenders and hopefully winning some titles. we'll start by making the playoffs this year.
id say at least 3-4 years. Ideally maybe 4-7. As long as Shaq stays healthy and he and Kobe are in LA, it will be hard to dethrone the Lakers. Im not a Shaq or Laker fan, just a realist. =)
I saw "Neckbar" and think it is funny. His homeboys from Slovenia are probably calling him that too, with reference to him going to a Texas team.
Don't get sensitive on the "neckbar" thing, I thought it was funny. My last name is Newsome, as a result, I get the nusiance, nobody, newguy stuff all the time. By the way, I'll remember to spell his name correctly, I don't want to hurt anyone feelings. sob, sob, However, I think my man Neckbar will contribute and it has no reference to "red neck". I lived in Houston for 11 1/2 years, trust me I know a red neck when I see one. Just pinch his/her neck and they will bleed to death. )
