Maybe Ming is hitting the rookie wall that his numbers are not as good as in earlier games. But rockets keeps winning by keeping opponents at low percentage. Ming's play accounted for a big part in defense success. His size often changed game plans or interrupted offensive plays. Kobe was held to 5-21 shooting. Many of his mid range jumpers were not without a hand and he was intimidated to penetrate the ball. I guess he couldn't figure out how to penetrate the ball through Ming's space. Do you guys think his defensive presence is more important than his offence. While his points are in a 10-15 range, Steve and Cat are shooting very well. Do you think his presence makes other guys open?
