Probably like you think they will. They'll boo for the hell of it everytime he touches the ball. They'll bring in signs. If the signs are particularly offensive, the holders might be told to put them away like Bob Whitsitt had done to the fans who held a sign pleading for his firing.

His toughest venues in order, imo:

    1. Philadelphia
    2. Boston
    3. Sacramento
    4. Denver
    5. San Antonio
    6. Portland

What will be the best Laker / Bare Bryant taunt without crossing the border of truth? I'm afraid the border of "good taste" would not be possible. Creativity and wit should score the most points!

I'm working on mine now, assuming Kobe will be playing when the opportunity arises.

New York will easily be the toughest, just on the media hounding him every second he is in NY. The fans will be all over him as well.

Naw, Philly will definitely be the toughest, but NY is an easy second.

I hope they do, because if Kobe gets off, NY will probably be the Laker's biggest competition in signing him to a contract in 2004. It will be like shooting themselves in the foot. :D

MSG is always full of Laker fans and they were all in his pocket last year when he scored 46 there. The toughest will be Philly. MSG is lower on the list of concerns than Houston.

Philly has the most ruthless fans anywhere. The fact that he's from Philly but the fans don't consider him a true Philly native couled only make matters worse. I don't think NY will be that harsh to be honest, unless the Knicks are actually half decent this year. The crowds were dead last year. When the Rox played, I swear the Rox fans were way louder than the Knicks until the last several minutes of the game.

speaking as someone who is from Philly, Kobe will be booed the worst there. Even though he was born in Lower Merion , he doesnt acknowledge it and we Philadelphians hate him for it.
